We believe the best water filtration product for our local region is to utilize a 50/50 mix of carbon-and coal based media in our water filters to maximize the effectiveness of filtering out a multitude of different chemicals municipalities use throughout different times of the year.
1) A semi moist 12 x 40 mesh coconut shell based granular activated carbon. It is dust free and acid washed to neutralize pH and conductivity when first placed into use. This is intended for chlorine and natural organic matter (NOM) removal where rapid adsorption is required.
2) A unique catalytic 12 x 40 mesh coconut shell carbon that can be utilized in the liquid phase. Specific applications include chloramines and hydrogen sulfide removal from potable, process and other waters and peroxide destruction. The unique catalytic properties of combined with the hardness of coconut shell carbon make it an excellent performer in liquid phase applications.
Both of these media’s are Gold Seal Certified by the WQA (Water Quality Association) for use in potable water applications.
System sizes range from:
8 gpm - 20+ gpm
